the second installment..

It was time for a radiator.

I wanted the biggest radiator that I could possibly fit, so I picked the biggest universal aluminum radiator

I didn't get any pictures of the bottom side, but basically I re-did the bottom of the core support to fit it, then used a couple of current threaded inserts on the upper core support to mount it.  Stays very cool..

Now for the electrical..

From the very begining, I wanted to re-use all factory switches where I could, but I wanted a very clean installation, not a race car feel.

The battery in trunk

A close up of the battery turn off switch

Here is a picture of the ignition installation.  I was going to make a removable plate like I have done before, but with this, I just hard-mounted it - but able to get to the igntion retard and two step adjustments fromt the glove box(when opened) and keep it from normal sight..

this is a picture of the starter sylonoid in the engine compartment.  If you look, you can see the 16 pin deutch firewall connector under neath, this is for the entire front electrical of the car(headlamps, alternator turn on, fans, T/S, etc)

On to the fuel system.

I wanted to run a serious fuel system - with a stock gas tank.  I wanted to have the capacity of 16 gallons, but I didn't want the look of this like you see on a 100 different mustangs with a stock gas tank:

So I started thinking and I came up with this:

-10 bulk heads, with 5/8" .120 tubing into the stock pickup location

Then with that tigged in place, I did this(first version)

to be honest, the BG pump works great when gravity fed.  I have used them on my falcon and other cars, but when used like this, and have to suck fuel, they work for shit.  This system was torn off within a day or so and was changed out to a A1000 aeromotive pump and Aeromotive filter.
Here is a crappy picture:

The main reason for this was to hide the fuel system from the back of the car unless you looked up inside the bumper..

Subject: Whose spider is that?
Dear Jane, Are you sure this drawing of a spider is the one I sent you? This spider only has seven legs and I do not feel I would have made such an elementary mistake when I drew it.
Regards, Josh.

Hello, I am back and have read through your emails and accept that despite missing a leg, that drawing of a spider may indeed be the one I sent you. I realise with hindsight that it is possible you rejected the drawing of a spider due to this obvious limb ommission but did not point it out in an effort to avoid hurting my feelings. As such, I am sending you a revised drawing with the correct number of legs as full payment for any amount outstanding. I trust this will bring the matter to a conclusion.
Regards, Josh.

I understand and will definately make a payment this week if I remember. As you have not accepted my second drawing as payment, please return the drawing to me as soon as possible. It was silly of me to assume I could provide you with something of completely no value whatsoever, waste your time and then attach such a large amount to it.
Regards, Josh.
